Hale, M.S. Molly Hale is a 5th year in the DAP Lab. Molly earned her B.A. from the University of Washington in Community Psychology in 2017. She went on to complete a year-long post-baccalaureate position at George Mason University in the Clinical Psychology department. She then received her M.S. in Experimental Psychology in 2020 from William & Mary. Molly is an emotion researcher who seeks to the impact of close relationships on emotional and psychological development in children and adolescents. She is interested in examining these pathways through both behavioral and physiological forms of assessment. Further, Molly is pursuing a quantitative minor into order to better apply advanced statistical techniques to answer these questions. Expected graduation: 2026. Email: molly.hale@uga.edu Andrea M. George, B.S. Andrea George is a 5th year student in the DAP Lab. Andrea earned her B.S. from the University of Georgia in 2020. As an undergraduate, she was a research assistant in the lab for 2 years, and did additional research assistantships at the University of Kentucky. Andrea's research focuses on youth internalizing disorders within a developmental psychopathology framework. She seeks to understand how contextual factors and individual characteristics can impact maladaptive emotional development and later psychopathology in youth by exploring emotion socialization and regulation processes in samples of varying risk. Expected graduation: 2026. Email: andrea.george25@uga.edu Kayley E. Morrow, B.A. Kayley Morrow is a 4th year in the DAP Lab. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University in 2019. She then completed a two-year post-baccalaureate position at the University of Pittsburgh in a clinical-developmental lab. Kayley’s research focuses on the role of emotion socialization in the intergenerational transmission of psychopathology, specifically depression and anxiety. She is interested in using multi-method assessment strategies to address these questions and improve outcomes and treatment approaches for parents and their children. Expected graduation: 2027. Email: kayley.morrow@uga.edu Daisy Gallegos, B.S. Daisy Gallegos is a 2nd year student in the DAP Lab. Daisy earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2018. She then completed 5 years of post-baccalaureate positions at UGA as a Research Assistant and Research Coordinator in the DAP Lab, the Social Determinants of Child Development Lab, and the Health and Development Lab. Daisy's research interests focus on Latinx children's development and well-being through risk and resilience factors like race, discrimination, and racial socialization. Francisco Pelaez is a 2nd year international student (Mexico) in the DAP Lab. Francisco earned his B.S. from the University of Georgia in 2022. As an undergraduate, he was a research assistant in the DAP lab for two years and continued to work at the lab after graduation before transitioning into his role as a graduate student. Francisco’s research interests include the effects of familiar relationships and personal experiences on the emotional development and well-being of Latinx children. Expected graduation: 2029. Alondra earned her B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico in 2022. As an undergraduate, she was a research assistant at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Alondra was a project coordinator for the Project of Accompaniment to Neighboring Public Schools at UPR-RP for two years.
